I had wanting to try making these eggs from long time and finally got to it. These eggs have very light oniony flavor and look very pretty and can be used for garnishing.
Take a sauce pan and put half of the onion skins.
Place the eggs on top of the onion skins and then cover it with the remaining onion skins
Put salt and water till it covers the onions skins and boil at low heat for 1 hour.
Turn off the gas and when the eggs cool down a little lighty tap the eggs to make cracks in the shells and leave the eggs in the onion water overnight.
Next day remove the shells and serve eggs with pepper.
