💥Peruvian style chicken is one of the best whole roasted chicken we have ever had.
While it's not uncommon to see a Peruvian chicken shop in our area but very few have been able to prefect it.
✳️This little shop in Arlington, Virginia has certainly mastered it.
🍗Very well marinated, perfectly roasted and very flavorful and juicy inside.
The accompanying sauces bring it to another level

😊A true foodie will travel anywhere for good food and finding this hole in the wall was certainly not easy but so worth it.
🍜The chewy and springy hand pulled noodles, glass noodles, woodear mushrooms, cilantro and tender pieces of lamb in an intensely flavorful milky lamb broth which has been cooked for hours and hours is something you will keep dreaming about for a long time.

✳️These days you get some version of this amazing street food everywhere. May it be gyro, or shawarma, or doner kebab, no matter which version you try everyone agrees that it's yummilishious.
💥We made ours two ways, one with chicken and other with minced lamb kebab. With harrisa, taziki, red onions, tomatoes and hummus.

🌺Hibiscus doughnut 🌺
With multiple hibiscus plants/trees in the backyard, all throughout our lives, never did we ever think to use the flower as food flavoring or coloring, let alone on donuts. That's genius. 🍩

💥Our favorite cheese- Burrata
It's mozzarella stuffed with stracciatella & cream, so when you cut it open all the amazing creamy things ooze out.
💥We gave it our own twist with sharp Spanish olive oil, garlic & onion powder, crushed red pepper, black pepper & dry Basil.
💥And a few fresh off the garden - parsley
💥Well, on the side we have oven roasted ripe heirloom tomatoes & garlic .
